KYW

Beasley Reece: The KYW sports director joined the station in 1998. The former NFL defensive back is married and has two grown sons. Trivia: Reece is an accomplished piano player and singer. Obscure Trivia: Actress Alyce Beasley (Ms. Dipesto, "Moonlighting") adopted her stage name from Reece, as her boyfriend at the time was a New York Giants fan. Reece is a native of Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas.

Steve Bucci: Weekend anchor and weekday reporter joined KYW from Washington, D.C., in 1997. The Shippensburg University graduate is single. Trivia: Bucci is a big fan of "Seinfeld."

Garry Cobb: The sports reporter joined KYW in 1997. The former Eagle began his broadcast career on WIP 610-AM. The former Southern Cal star has two grown daughters and a son from his first marriage. He married for the second time last year. Trivia: Cobb was also offered professional contracts to play baseball.

WPVI

Gary Papa: The WPVI sports director joined the station as a weekend sports anchor in 1981. He has hosted "Prime Time" since 1983. Currently getting treatment for prostate cancer, Papa is married and has two sons under 10. Trivia: Papa has a law degree from the University of Buffalo.

Scott Palmer: Palmer joined the station around the same time as Papa in 1981. Incredibly, he has been the 5 p.m. sports anchor his entire time at Channel 6. Palmer was an officer in the U.S. Navy. He is married and has two children in their 20s.

Jack Brayboy: Brayboy also joined Channel 6 in 1982. The longtime sports producer added on-air duties in 1990. Brayboy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and is single.

Phil Andrews: The weekend sports anchor is the "new guy" on the sports staff as he has been at WPVI since 1990. The graduate of the University of New Hampshire is married and has three children.

WCAU

Vai Sikahema: The former NFL player has been at WCAU since 1994. He currently is enjoying his first network Olympic assignment. Sikahema, a devout Mormon, is married and has four children.

John Clark: The weekend sports anchor is fulfilling his childhood dream by working in his hometown. The Temple University graduate joined WCAU in 2002. He is single.

Howard Eskin: A Philadelphia native, Eskin is in his fourth decade as a radio and television personality. He has been on the air since 1976, when he broke into radio on the old WCAU 1210-AM. Since then, he worked at WWDB 96.5-FM from 1979-82, debuted on television on KYW in 1982, helped launch "The Ten O'Clock News" on WTXF in 1986, returned to KYW in the early 1990s and joined WCAU in 1996. Eskin has been on WIP 610-AM since 1986. He is married and has five children.

WTXF

Don Tollefson: Tolley began on WPVI in 1975 and stayed until 1990 when he left because of Crohn's disease and to spend more time on his charitable organization "Winning Ways." He returned to television in 1995 and hosted "Good Day, Philadelphia" for two years. He returned to sports in 1998. A graduate of Stanford University, Tollefson was married once a few years ago, but is now single. He has no children.

Bill Vargus: The weekend sports anchor broke into television in Philadelphia on WHYY from 1985-91. He did weekends at WCAU from 1989-91, and returned to Philadelphia in 1997, where he works at WTXF with his wife, "Good Day, Philadelphia's" Sue Serio. They have one daughter.

Comcast SportsNet

Michael Barkann: The face of the CSN postgame shows began in Philly as the weekend sports anchor on KYW from 1987-91. He's been on Comcast SportsNet since its inception in 1997. Barkann is married and has two children. He graduated from Syracuse University.

Ron Burke: He was the weekend sports anchor at WCAU from 1988-97. He was one of the original anchors at CSN in 1997, left for a year, then returned a couple of years ago. Burke is married and has two children. He is a graduate of James Madison University.

Leslie Gudel: Gudel became the first weekday female sportscaster in Philadelphia when she began on Comcast SportsNet in 1997. The California native is married and has one daughter.

Neil Hartman: Hartman broke into Philadelphia as the host of the Sixers' pregame and postgames shows on WPHL in 1989. He has been with Comcast SportsNet since 1997.

CN8

Lou Tilley: The Philadelphia native has been on the air in Philadelphia since 1986. He was the sports director at KYW from 1986-1998. He was out of the business for two years then started at CN8 in 2000. Tilley is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he played football. He is married and has two children.

Gregg Murphy: The CN8 reporter and anchor has been on the air for two years. The Saint Joseph's University graduate is married and has three children.

Bruce Casella: The CN8 sports reporter worked at PRISM in 1984, KYW in 1986-87, ESPN thoroughbred racing for a couple of years, then returned to Philadelphia in 1990. In 1993, he was the weekend sports anchor on WCAU. He was on Comcast SportsNet from 1997-2000. He worked at CN8 since 2000. Casella is married and has two children. He also owns a restaurant in New Jersey.
