Pat Croce: "I Feel Great" About My New Show

Not surprisingly, Pat Croce's new show "Pat Croce: Moving In" is doing well in Philadelphia.  After its first eight days on the air, Croce's show, which airs weekdays at 3 p.m. on KYW, is 33% ahead of "Pyramid," which aired in that time slot last year.  It has beaten "Ellen" a couple of times, but is still behind "General Hospital" (I heart Sonny and Jason).

As for some of the other new shows, "The Tony Danza Show" is down 9% from "The Wayne Brady Show" on WPVI at 10 a.m.  "The Jane Pauley Show" is down 30% from "Starting Over" for WCAU at 11 a.m.  And "The Insider" with Pat O'Brien is up 7% over "The Hollywood Squares" on KYW at 7:30 p.m.  Is it necessary to have "Entertainment Tonight," "Extra," "Access Hollywood" and "The Insider" in the 7 p.m. hour?  Also, "The Larry Elder Show" is up 29% over last year's "Living It Up with Ali & Jack" for KYW at 9 a.m.

Donald Trump will be selling his new book "Think Like a Billionaire" on QVC tonight at 9 p.m. from Trump Plaza in New York City.  Like last year, the best part of "The Apprentice" is watching Trump sidekicks George and Carolyn in the boardroom.  "Apprentice" Kevin Allen was a cornerback for the University of Pennsylvania football team.  Allen, a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, is currently a law student at the University of Chicago.

Now, another celebrity wants to have a reality show.  Joining Trump, Tyra Banks, Mark Cuban, and Richard Branson is designer Tommy Hilfiger.  He'll host a show to find the next great designer for mid-season show, "The Cut" on CBS.  There will be a casting call Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Kensington Furniture in Cherry Hill, N.J.  Hilfiger probably got the television "bug" from his daughter Ally who was one of the "Rich Girls" on MTV last summer.

When there is a late football game on Sunday, KYW will do its 6 p.m. news on sister station UPN 57.

Congratulations to WPVI weekend weather anchor Sally Ann Mosey who gave birth to a baby girl September 19th.  Baby girl Mosey joins three older brothers.  Congratulations to WCAU reporter Lisa Kelly, who gave birth to a baby girl, Charis at the end of August.

In the latest ratings period, which concluded last week, the top ten radio stations for ages 12 and over are WDAS 105.3-FM, KYW 1060-AM, WBEB 101.1-FM, WJJZ 106.1-FM, WUSL 98.9-FM, WYSP 94.1-FM, WMGK 102.9-FM WPHT 1210-AM, WXTU 92.5-FM, and WOGL 98.1-FM.
