Here are some of the changes to a couple of the local stations’ syndicated lineups in the fall.

CBS3 will air the new Merv Griffin-produced “Let’s Play Crosswords” at 9 a.m.  John O’Hurley hosts the umpteenth edition of “Family Feud” at 9:30 a.m. The rest of the weekday block remains the same, including “The Price is Right” with new host Drew Carey.

For Fox29, “Tyra” joins the lineup at 10 a.m.  The television version of the popular web site “TMZ” will air at 6 p.m.  A repeat of the previous night’s episode airs at 11:30 a.m.  So what does TMZ mean?  The answer appears at the bottom of the column.

Industry sources say that CN8 will shorten “Your Morning” hosted by Connie Colla and Greg Coy from 7 – 10 a.m. to 6 – 8 a.m. in September.

When asked to confirm the information, CN8 spokesperson Leslie Padilla wrote,

CN8 is constantly evaluating its original programming to best serve its more than nine million viewers in 12 states and 20 television markets along the East Coast, and to fulfill its mission to continually reshape and revolutionize regional television with relevant content of local, regional and national interests. At this time, we do not have any announcements to share.”

I’ll take that as a yes!

Dorm room decorating tips will be given out on “10” today on NBC10 at 10 a.m.

WOGL 98.1-FM is giving away tickets to see Kenny Loggins at Philadelphia Park August 12.

“The Simpsons Movie” opens Friday.  Expect it to be the number one movie of the weekend.

TMZ means “Thirty Mile Zone,” the thirty miles around Los Angeles.
