CN8 continues to be the haven for anchors and reporters that depart other stations in town.  Former 6ABC personality Wally Kennedy will be subbing for Mary Caraccioli of “Money Matters Today” for part of her maternity leave.  She is due at the end of July. 

Also, former Fox-29 reporter and anchor Janet Zappala will be working as a freelance reporter at CN8.  Zappala was a reporter for several years for the morning show “Good Day Philadelphia” until her contract wasn’t renewed a few months ago. 

Sources say that Karen Thomas, who recently decided not to return to Fox, may also pop up on CN8. 

CN8 news director John Mussoni formerly was the news director at Fox.

Staffers at CN8 include news anchor Arthur Fennell, formerly of Channel 10, "Your Morning" co-host Connie Colla, formerly of Channel 10, "Out of Bounds" host Lou Tilley, formerly of Channel 3, and reporter/anchor Greg Coy, formerly of Channel 29.

Fox-29 personality Jennaphr Frederick and her husband Steve welcomed their first child last week – Brody Frederick weighed in at 6 lbs, 6 ozs. 

NBC10 reporter Ted Greenberg will marry fiancée Toby Greenberg September 10.

ABC Daytime’s “Fun in the Sun” tour arrives at the Water Works behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Fairmount Park Saturday from noon – 4 p.m.  Talent scheduled to appear includes Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio Vega, “One Life to Live”), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex Balsom, “One Life to Live”), M’fundo Morrison, (Justus Ward, “General Hospital”), Matt Marracino (Jesse, “General Hospital”), Kathy Brier (Marcie Walsh, “One Life to Live”), and Jeff Branson, (“All My Children”).

A 48-hour “Good Times” marathon airs on TV Land Saturday beginning at 6 a.m.  Beginning next Monday, it will air at 10 p.m. on TV Land.
