Midway through May sweeps, 6ABC is winning all of the news races.  Weeknights at 11 p.m., 6ABC leads with a 9 rating/17 share.  CBS3 is second with a 7 rating/13 share, and NBC10 is third with a 6 rating/11 share. It should be noted that the 10:45 p.m. lead-in for NBC10 is a 6 rating/11 share, compared to an 8 rating/14 share for CBS3, and 9 rating/16 share for 6ABC,

 

At 10 p.m., thanks to a 9 rating/13 share lead-in at 9:45 p.m., the Fox “Ten O’clock News” has a 6 rating/9 share.  “The myPHL News Powered by NBC10” has a 2 rating/3 share.

 

At 6 p.m., 6ABC leads with a 10 rating/22 share.  CBS3 is in second place with a 4 rating/9 share, and NBC10 is in third place with a 4 rating/8 share.

 

At 5 p.m., 6ABC leads with a 9 rating/21 share.  “Dr Phil” on CBS3 is in second with a 4 rating/10 share, and NBC10 is in third with a 3 rating/6 share.  The Fox29 news is in fourth place with a 2 rating/4 share.

 

At 4 p.m. “Oprah” on 6ABC leads with a 7 rating/20 share.  The CBS3 news and “Judge Judy” on Fox29 are tied for second with a 3 rating/8 share, and NBC10’s “All That and More” is in fourth place with a 2 rating/5 share.

 

At noon, 6ABC leads with a 6 rating/23 share.  CBS3 is in second place with a 4 rating/14 share. “iVillage Live” on NBC10 is in sixth place with a 0.4 rating/2 share.

 

At 11 a.m., the Fox29 news is in last place behind “The View,” “The Price is Right,” “Jerry Springer,” “Judge Lopez,” and “Martha.”

 

At 10 a.m., “Rachael Ray” on 6ABC leads with a 4 rating/16 share.  “Maury Povich” and “Judge Mathis” are tied for second with a 1 rating/6 share.  NBC10’s “10” and “Guiding Light” on CBS3 are tied for third with a 1 rating/5 share.  Ad-lib challenged co-host Lori Wilson isn’t helping the cause for “10.”

 

From 7 – 9 a.m., Fox29’s “Good Day Philadelphia” and “The CBS Early Show” are practically tied, but behind “Good Morning America” on 6ABC and “The Today Show” on NBC10.

 

From 6 - 7 a.m., 6ABC leads with a 7 rating/24 share.  The NBC10 news is second with a 4 rating/14 share.  CBS3 news is third with a 3 rating/10 share and the Fox29 news is fourth with a 2 rating/6 share.  The CW news is fifth with a 1 rating/3 share.

 

Each rating point equals around 29,000 households.

 

“Today Show” online correspondent Lynn Berry joins NBC10 as a reporter for “All That and More” beginning June 4.

 

“The Price is Right” airs two primetime specials Wednesday and Thursday to send-off venerable host Bob Barker who is retiring after 35-years on the show. CBS has not announced a replacement yet.

 

CBS3 will air Merv Griffin's new game show "Let's Play Crosswords," hosted by Ty Treadway this fall.

 

Laura is scheduled to be part of a panel discussing "American Idol" on "It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle" Thursday at 9 p.m. on CN8.
