According to industry sources, NBC10 has not found a replacement for weekend weather anchor Amy Freeze yet.  Maybe they should consider former Fox29 weekend meteorologist Karen Thomas, who is still living in the area.

While Channel 12 gets a gold star for "Philly's Favorite Kids Show Hosts," we wonder why the "Al Alberts' Showcase" wasn't included? WHYY's Paul Gluck wrote in an email, "While it featured young people, we felt it was a "talent" show aimed at an adult audience."

It’s good to hear radio veteran Marilyn Russell back on the air doing middays and specifically the 80’s lunch on Ben 95.7-FM.  It's also good to hear Frank Cerami playing the classic dance music on the "My 106.1-FM "Friday Night Live" broadcast on Fridays at 8 p.m.
