CBS3 and NBC10 lead the local stations in the amount of local talent employed.  Here’s a quick primer to let you know who’s from where.

Susan Barnett – Grew up in Levittown, PA and is a graduate of Truman High and the University of Delaware.

Steve Bucci – Grew up in Allentown and graduated from Shippensburg University.

Pat Ciarrocchi- Grew up in Kennett Square and graduated from Rosemont College.

Walt Hunter – Grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.

Bob Kelly – Grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University.

Tom Lamaine – Grew up in Atlantic City, NJ and graduated from Fordham University.

Notes:

Congratulations to 6ABC meteorologist Cecily Tynan and her husband Greg Watson, who became parents to a baby boy, Luke Robert, on Friday.  He weighed in at 7 pounds and 2 inches and was 20 inches long. 

My new favorite show on the radio is “I Love the 70’s” on WOGL 98.1-FM. 

There are still rumblings of a 5 p.m. newscast coming to Fox29 this year.

A “Survivor” casting call will take place at the CBS3 studios at 5^th and Market on February 2 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

With Seattle and Pittsburgh in the big game, expect some kind of “Grey’s Anatomy” tie-in for “The Super Bowl,” which will air on ABC.  “Grey’s” is set in Seattle.
