Broomall's Kincade Was At Center of Eagles-Falcons Clash
By Laura Nachman

It was a whirlwind week for Broomall native and Atlanta sports radio talk show star John Kincade, 40, who had the unique perspective of being a lifelong Eagles' fan, while working in Atlanta.

Kincade was the subject of newspaper articles, television stories, and radio reports when he returned to his hometown, where his mom still lives, to file reports for his own radio station this weekend.
Kincade is the co-host with former University of Georgia quarterback Buck Belue of the top rated afternoon drive show in Atlanta on "The Fan 680-AM."
Though he has worked in Atlanta radio since 1995, he has made it abundantly clear that he is rooting for the Eagles because of his Philadelphia roots, much to the chagrin of his Atlanta listeners.
Kincade got his start in broadcasting reading the news for Cardinal O'Hara. He majored in broadcasting at Temple University and was a sportscaster on the school station, WRTI 90.1-FM.
After graduation, Kincade worked in the business world, while pursuing his other passion - ice hockey. Kincade coached at West Chester East high school, Downingtown high school, and West Chester University while working for SMS Healthcare. He also used his humor to earn a regular spot with Angelo Cataldi on WIP 610-AM.
When SMS transferred him to Atlanta, Kincade broke into radio professionally at 680-AM, thanks to recommendations from WIP's Cataldi and Tony Bruno. Then, he was hired by rival station "The Zone" 790-AM.
Though things were going well professionally, on the personal front, Kincade took a hit when he contracted non-hogkins lymphoma in 1995.
He recovered, but then got testicular cancer in 1997. "I said to myself, if I recover from this, I promise to pursue my radio career full time." Kincade got better, and hasn't looked back.
Besides the radio show, Kincade has done television work for the Atlanta Thrashers, and subbed for Dan Patrick on ESPN radio in December. He was even named one of Atlanta's "Most Beautiful People" a couple of years ago by a local magazine.
Though things are great down south, Kincade would love to return to Philadelphia. "It would be a dream come true to return to Philly and talk about the Eagles seven months a year."
Kincade has been married for three years to wife, Cristina. They are the parents of a 13- month-old daughter, Olivia.
